Composite Retouching
Composite Retouching
The composite retouching gallery displays the final images made by retouching all the smaller pieces together. Sometimes these have large panorama image backgrounds that need to be stitched together. Other times the photographer will shoot individual pieces of a car to get the best lighting on all aspects of the product. Then the photos will be comp’ed together to make the final image.
Some have a base image that contains the majority of the image and provides a starting point from which to add layers and retouching in order to make the final image. Others are put together without a base image, but instead use many images with a similar amount of information to create the final image. Either way, this kind of presentation can allow a glimpse behind the curtain to see what kind of composite retouching has been done.
